The Shop
The staff at Bikes on the Drive are certifiably insane. They all suffer from a warped sense of humour and an easily triggered laugh reflex. For sales, they take a team approach and for each other, they take a family approach. They are also all incredibly good natured and eager to help happy customers.
You may notice less staff turnover at Bikes on the Drive than at other shops. This is due to the shop’s social commitment to its staff. All staff start out $2 above minimum wage as we believe minimum wage is not enough to live on and still enjoy life. We strive to keep as many staff as possible employed throughout the winter months when most shops are laying off employees. We believe this is the right thing to do and allows us to give our staff more training. Staff also enjoy many other perks specifically related to bikes.
Bikes on the Drive is a dry shop. No alcohol, drugs or conversation about imbibing is allowed at the shop or at shop events. The shop is a safe space for those who have dealt with substance abuse.
What does this mean for our happy customers? Better service, hands down.
