Service
Our service department’s focus is on providing you with the mechanical work that meets your needs in a friendly and professional environment. This includes ensuring your comfort and enjoyment while biking and, for our regular commuting customers, fixing your bike with minimal downtime.
Before beginning any service, we assess your bike or problem area and give you an estimate of price and completion time. This allows you to come in, tell us the symptom and have us diagnose it for you – no charge! We then consider how you ride and what you expect to get from the service before proposing one or two options that will meet your needs. We give fast turn around times for urgent jobs and offer appointments for larger services. This gives you the option to keep riding right up until the appointment or leave the bike with us until the work is done.
“When someone comes in with a bike that needs work, we are providing that person with service, not just working on their bike. We want to make sure they get the best service possible.” -Darcy, Service Manager
The service staff at Bikes on the Drive want to take professionalism in bike shops to another level for our customers. We have several Barnett Bicycle Institute certified mechanics on staff capable of giving you trusted, knowledgeable advice. Our mechanics have the opportunity for ongoing training throughout their time with us, ensuring quality work is done on your bike every time. This training includes information about more environmentally friendly options to offer to you, the cyclist, understanding that it is a priority for many of our customers. Our mechanics are also exceptionally good looking.
We are committed to ensuring you are satisfied with out work. To that end, all of our service jobs are warrantied for 30 days. Potential warranties must be brought to our attention as soon as you notice a problem.
